Time on your own terms
We look at whether guests can use services when they wish, in the way that suits them.
The quiet strengths of a place
Light through a window. A scent that lingers in a room. The moment a member of staff brings a meal. We follow the course of a guest’s stay, paying close attention to the spaces and the service along the way.
Your hotel shares its priorities and available operational data. We bring firsthand observations and photographs, then deliver a space assessment, guest experience proposals and an implementation plan.
We look at whether guests can use services when they wish, in the way that suits them.
We consider whether guests can choose how much to engage with staff and rest without interruption.
We read the mood created by colour, light and materials, then propose experiences that let guests enjoy what makes the place distinctive.
Our perspective · Five-Element Aesthetics
Five-Element Aesthetics is GAINPICK’s framework for reading a space through colour, light and materials.
We use the Five Elements to interpret its colours, light and materials, and the atmosphere we experience during a stay. We consider the designer’s intent alongside our first-hand experience as guests.
Using the sales and operational data the hotel shares, we assess which experiences suit the space and what it would take to offer them.
What you receive
We begin with one agreed room type or space, identifying its strengths and the operational issues to address.

| Space Assessment Report |
We record the strengths and difficulties observed during a stay, set out the evidence, and identify what to improve first. Strengths and evidence · Points of discomfort · Priorities for improvement |
Which strengths to build on, and which issues to address first. |
| Experience Offering Proposal |
We identify the guests an experience would serve and how they would use it, then propose a paid offering built around existing services. Target guests and use scenarios · Service components · Proposed offering name and sales copy |
How existing services could become an experience guests can book. |
| Implementation Proposal |
We explain what the hotel would need to prepare and how the idea would fit into its operations. We also propose how to run a pilot and measure its results. Proposed pricing · Estimated operating costs · Preparation time · Task responsibilities · Operational impact · Pilot approach · Evaluation metrics |
What it would take to introduce the idea, and how to assess it. |
GAINPICK handles research, analysis and planning, and provides its proposals in writing. The hotel decides what to adopt, carries out the work and monitors day-to-day operations. Costs and timelines are based on the agreed scope and verified information.
How we work
We agree on the space your hotel would like to make better use of and the issues it wants to address.
Jenny Huh records the guest journey in notes and photographs, tracing how space, scent and service shape the stay.
Claude chat helps organise observations, draft reports and translate them. Jenny checks the evidence and makes the final recommendations.
The hotel receives a space assessment, experience offering proposals and an implementation plan to review, prioritise and put into practice.
Your information and our findings stay confidential. We share them outside your team only with your hotel’s written consent. A return visit and review after the pilot requires a separate written agreement on timing, scope and fees.
Sample Reading · Fictional hotel
Our sample report follows a fictional guest’s stay, from small points of friction to the possibilities within a place. It shows how a reading leads to proposals.
We begin by recording the experience, keeping observed facts distinct from interpretation. From there, we develop proposals for the hotel to consider.
Read the sample reportA fictional demonstration, available in English and Korean. The original case report remains private.
Founder Jenny Huh draws on stays at luxury hotels in Switzerland, Singapore and Hong Kong. She records the experience, checks the evidence and develops recommendations around each hotel’s spaces, services and operating constraints.
Building since January 2026
Jenny Huh started the business in Seoul in January 2026. Our work now includes a hotel case study, interactive reports and an art discovery app. GAINPICK is the public brand of this continuing business.
We use Claude chat to organise hotel observations, draft reports and translate them. Jenny checks the source material, distinguishes observations from proposals, and reviews the final recommendations.
We plan to use the Claude API to find improvement opportunities, develop new guest offerings and draft pricing, operating requirements and pilot plans. We will evaluate the workflow on anonymised case material before using it in client projects.
Business history and development status updated 8 October 2026.
